Responsibilities:

  • You have to investigate project/capital equipment proposals, develop justifications, prepare requests for expenditure, acquire equipment, and ensure that justification goals are achieved.
  • You need to partner with Manufacturing Supervisors to achieve Flowserve’s goals and objectives.
  • You have to specify and acquire factory supplies that reduce costs and improve effectiveness.
  • You need to ensure the availability of CNC programs to support new products and customer requirements.
  • You have to assist with training, instructing, and maintaining a flexible operator CNC programming and tooling skill base.
  • You need to ensure tooling and fixtures are available to support customer demand.
  • You have to troubleshoot processes and equipment to minimize delays in production schedules.
  • You need to assist in the development of the profit plan and the manufacturing strategic plan.
  • You have to track assigned capital projects and expenditures to ensure timely completion and stay within budget.
  • You need to stay informed about the latest developments in machine tool equipment, tooling, and manufacturing methods.
  • You need to recommend innovative solutions to improve throughput and quality when applicable.
  • You must understand and support all Company objectives and perform duties as delegated by management.
  • You must enforce safety rules by ensuring that tooling, fixtures, and processes comply with all applicable OSHA regulations.
  • You must enforce Flowserve’s environmental policies by ensuring that processes comply with all applicable environmental regulations.
  • You need to ensure that subcontractors are aware of and adhere to Flowserve’s environmental policies.
  • You must demonstrate the ability and willingness to work effectively as a team player.
  • You must treat all customers and fellow employees with respect.

Flowserve Off Campus 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

  • You should have a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing).
  • It’s preferred if you have 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • You should have a proven track record of leading and driving cost reductions in a manufacturing environment utilizing Continuous Improvement Methodologies.
  • You should have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • You need to be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, engineering drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
  • You need to be able to write routine and technical correspondence effectively.
  • You should be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to groups of customers or employees.
  • You need to be able to comprehend and apply principles of advanced geometry, trigonometry, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory.
  • You need to be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • You should have experience interpreting a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
