Key Responsibilities:

You have to monitor client infrastructure and solutions.
You need to proactively identify and address potential problems and errors.
You need to routinely identify common incidents and explore ways to prevent them from happening.
You have to investigate and identify the root cause of incidents and problems.
You have to fulfill approved requests according to established procedures.
You may be required to provide phone or chat support to clients.
You have to execute approved maintenance activities, including patching and configuration changes.
You need to follow required handover procedures for shift changes to ensure seamless service continuity.
You have to report and escalate incidents when necessary.
You need to ensure efficient and comprehensive resolution of incidents and requests.
You need to proactively identify opportunities to optimize work processes.
You have to update existing knowledge articles or create new ones.
You need to identify opportunities for work optimization, including automation of work, request fulfillment, incident resolution, and other process improvements.
You may also be required to contribute to or support project work as needed.
You may be required to work on implementing and delivering Disaster Recovery functions and tests.
You may be required to perform other related tasks as required.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

You must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology/Computing.
You should have a CCNA certification or an equivalent certification.
Certifications relevant to the services provided are highly valued.

Required Experience:

You should have entry-level experience or have successfully completed the relevant intern program.
You should have entry-level experience in troubleshooting and providing support within Network / Data Center / Systems / Storage administration and monitoring services in a medium to large ICT organization.
You need to have basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and products within the supported technical domain (i.e., Network, Data Center, Telephony, Exchange, Storage, Cloud, Backup, etc.).
