Job Role Overview:

  • You will be part of the McAfee team, developing cutting-edge security products for the Windows operating system.
  • This is a remote position for candidates currently residing in India.

About the role:

  • You will implement new software features for malware detection, ensuring the highest quality standards and engineering practices.
  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and testing complex software.
  • You need to be proficient in C++ coding and debugging skills and possess adequate knowledge of Windows user-mode programming and internals.
  • You will innovate and develop new mechanisms to detect malware and protect McAfee customers.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • You should have 1+ years of experience in C++ coding and a strong understanding of data structures.
  • You should have working knowledge of development cycles, including code review, source control, code quality automation scanning, bug scrub, unit testing, and developer testing.
  • Experience with Windows user-mode programming and internals is a plus.
  • It’s a plus if you have working knowledge of VC++, STL, and MFC.
  • It’s a plus if you have experience with tools like Windbg, Coverity, and App Verifier.
  • Knowledge of malware analysis is a plus, but not mandatory.
