Job Role : Software Development Engineer I

Job Type : Full Time Job

Your Role as a Software Development Engineer I

  • You will be responsible for leading the design and development of microservices built using Spring Boot on Cloud platforms.
  • You have to program, test, implement, document, maintain, and support applications in accordance with MasterCard standards, processes, and industry best practices.
  • You have to develop high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions based on technical requirements specifications and design artifacts within expected time and budget constraints.
  • You have to develop enterprise solutions (standalone applications, services, and SDKs) using J2EE, JDBC (SQL & NoSQL) and related technologies like Spring and the Spring Framework.
  • You have to integrate content feeds via APIs (like JSON, XML, and RSS) from both internal and external sources.
  • You should have hands-on design and development experience with Cloud platforms. Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry is a significant advantage.
  • You have to communicate directly with team and project leaders to ensure scheduled due dates are met, identify emerging issues, and recommend solutions for problems. You also need to independently perform assigned tasks.
  • You will provide support to internal and external users of the web content management system.
  • You will participate in production incident management and on-call escalation pager support rotations.
  • You have to document application components for support and training materials to meet MasterCard Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.

Mastercard Job Role Eligibility Criteria

Education:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field.
