As Delivery Practitioner, you are responsible for transaction processing in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate all accounting activities associated with the General Ledger particularly fixed assets, inter-company, inventory, cash and bank, indirect tax and accruals.
  • Identify risks or opportunities to revenues, cost and profitability and propose appropriate actions.
  • Ensure client Service Level Agreements (SLA) and timelines are met.

IBM Off Campus Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree / Master’s Degree.
  • Batch: 2024 and before

Preferred skill:

  • 0-1 year of experience in Finance and Accounting.
  • Capable of managing order fulfillment and handling cash payments, including collection and application.
  • Skilled in identifying and rectifying duplicate records in vendor invoice receipts, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing.
  • Proficient in matching invoices, identifying errors, resolving exceptions, prioritizing invoices, and reducing invoice aging.
  • Experience working within SOX compliance guidelines, ensuring all documents are posted only after due approval.
  • Expertise in handling both manual and automatic payment requests, including verification and payment run proposals.
  • Strong understanding of processing Travel and Expense (T/E) claims, resolving duplicate payments, recovery, and vendor statement reconciliations.
  • Ability to manage queries through phone calls and email follow-ups.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting practices and principles.
  • Competent in identifying and correcting duplicate or erroneous records and taking necessary actions.
  • Skilled in managing expenses effectively.
