📝 Job Summary
This entry-level Security Officer L1 position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of NTT Data Center’s physical infrastructure, equipment, and personnel. Working under the direction of the Security Supervisor and closely collaborating with the Data Center Operations Team (DCOPS), you’ll be responsible for protection of personnel and company property while maintaining a secure environment for NTT Data Center customers. This client-facing role offers an excellent opportunity to start your career in security operations within a high-tech data center environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- 🆔 Ensure all employees, clients, vendors, and visitors have proper company-issued identification
- 👮 Patrol assigned posts on foot to maintain visibility and observe unusual activity
- 📹 Monitor CCTV systems and manage access control systems
- 📋 Complete daily administrative documentation and maintain security reports
- 🚨 Respond to emergencies and coordinate with local emergency management resources
- 🔍 Investigate and report security incidents, accidents, fires, and hazardous situations
- 📦 Assist with Shipping and Receiving tasks as needed
- 🤝 Provide professional customer service to clients and NTT personnel
- 🛡️ Enforce security procedures based on Security Management team policies
- 🎯 Preserve property and gather evidence during security-related investigations
✅ Who Can Apply?
🎓 Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus
💼 Experience Level:
- Six months experience in security roles preferred (especially in data center or similar environment)
- Experience with access control systems, CCTV systems with digital recording, and photo ID systems preferred
