📝 Job Summary
As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee at Volvo’s Bangalore facility, you’ll support the Purchasing Support Center in performing global procurement-related tasks. This apprenticeship offers hands-on exposure to SCM tools, global supplier networks, and analytics that help build a strong foundation in supply chain management.
🔧 Key Responsibilities 🔧
🧾 Maintain Handler Logs, Order Management, and Portfolio Activities
📦 Manage RFQs, coordinate supplier responses, and assist buyers
📊 Analyze supplier quotes and prepare cost breakdowns
🔍 Resolve supplier issues and manage price discrepancies
📈 Perform supply chain analyses – ABC, 80/20, Cost per KG, Spend, etc.
🌐 Support supplier integration, EDI connections, and supplier portal access
📊 Create dashboards, maintain taxonomy, and segment data for reports
