Your Role: Software Engineer (Python and C/C++)
You’ll play a key role in designing and developing a robust Python driver for NuoDB’s distributed database. Your contributions will directly enhance our client connectivity and improve database performance.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Develop a high-performance Python driver for NuoDB
- Produce clear, high-quality internal and external documentation
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure optimal testability and quality
- Design an intuitive and user-friendly Python driver interface
- Engage with cross-functional teams to meet product requirements
🧠 Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/IT or equivalent
- Strong programming expertise in Python and C/C++
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS like SQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with wrapping C++ libraries for Python integration
- Excellent communication skills and independent work approach
- Experience with Git, code reviews, and automated build systems
- Strong focus on testing database applications for quality assurance
