Your Job Role And Responsibilities.
Position Overview:
- As a Fraud Chargeback Associate, your primary responsibility is to handle and resolve cardholder dispute transactions. You will work within the guidelines of card networks (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, etc.) and comply with all relevant federal and state rules and regulations.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle Disputes: You’ll be responsible for investigating and resolving disputes related to credit card charges.
- Follow Regulations: You’ll ensure that all actions taken comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Customer Service: You’ll handle inquiries from customers, banks, and other departments regarding disputed charges.
- Meet Deadlines: You’ll work efficiently to meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Escalate Issues: You’ll know when to escalate complex issues to more experienced team members.
- Handle Special Cases: You’ll deal with various types of disputes, such as non-posted items and retrieval requests.
- Meet Performance Goals: You’ll meet performance targets, including quality standards and adherence to schedules.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualifications:
- You must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- You must have at least one year of experience in a call center, fraud, or banking environment.
- You must be flexible and willing to work different shifts, including overtime, as required by business needs.
Competencies:
- You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You must have strong customer service skills that contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.
- You must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, especially PC skills.
- You must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
- You must be able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You must be able to maintain confidentiality.
