Job Role : Associate, OPS Data Management & Quantitative Analysis I

In this role, you will:
- Contribute to the development of statistical, financial, and/or econometric models by working with internal and external datasets and client reference data.
- Provide analytical support and prepare drafts of standard and ad-hoc reports for your assigned area.
- Conduct basic statistical and quantitative analyses with general guidance from senior colleagues.
- Support data management activities for more senior quantitative colleagues, including data extraction and model population.
- Build knowledge of technology tools used for data analysis, including techniques such as querying and macro development.
- Develop a strong understanding of processes, products, and the best analytical methodologies to assess performance, risk, or valuation.
- Interpret findings and prepare initial drafts of standard reports.
BNY Mellon Off Campus Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications:
- Education: You must have a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: An advanced degree in quantitative analysis is preferred. 0-2 years’ experience is preferred, with experience in quantitative finance and technology being a plus.
To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:
- Experience in brokerage processing is preferred.
- You must contribute to the achievement of team objectives.
