Job Role : Risk Consulting-SFT-Staff

SFT Stand for : Structured Finance Transactions

Job Purpose:

  • The Structured Finance Team provides essential services related to CDO (Collateralized Debt Obligations) transactions to many of the largest investment banks and asset managers in the U.S.
  • Key services include Agreed Upon Procedure reports (including recalculating priority of payments to investors using excel-based cash flow models), due diligence, and reviewing collateral portfolio composition.
  • The team works with various CDO asset classes, including Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), and Credit Default Swaps.

Roles & Responsibilities of an SFT Valuation Analyst:

  • You will be responsible for valuing all structured products.
  • You have to analyze client portfolios to determine the level of risk associated with different asset types.
  • You need to extract pricing information on Fixed Income Securities from EY internal research tools and external vendors.
  • You must be able to adapt quickly and learn new things in a fast-paced environment.
  • You need to be able to multitask and work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • You have to perform various analyses on complex Excel models and third-party models (like Bloomberg, Intex, Moody’s) for the valuation of Structured Products.
  • You must pay close attention to detail while maintaining a holistic view of the entire process.
  • You need to maintain high integrity within the team.
  • You have to clearly articulate issues and problems to senior members.
  • You need to be an effective team player and collaborate effectively with your colleagues.

Eligibility Criteria for Risk Consulting-SFT Role:-

Requirements (Qualifications)

  • You must have an MBA or an ACCA degree with a specialization in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related financial field.
  • If You have prior experience in the Valuation of Fixed Income Securities Is Good.
  • You must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel.
  • You must have strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interactions.
  • You need to have a good understanding of current market trends and the overall economic scenario.
  • You must be willing to work in shifts based on the role’s requirements.
  • You must have effective project management and teamwork skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • You must demonstrate exceptional work ethic and strong time management skills.
