Job Role : Full Stack Engineer – .net+React

Job Type : Full Time.

Your Role and Responsibilities as a Engineer

What you’ll do:

  • You will play a key role in reinventing the customer experience at Volvo by developing digital solutions that make buying a car enjoyable and easy.
  • As a Full Stack Developer within the Platform team, you will be responsible for developing both front-end and back-end software for consumer-facing and internal products used globally.
  • You will be involved in the rapid development of prototypes and concepts, as well as ongoing product development to enhance the user experience.
  • You will work as part of a distributed scrum team, collaborating closely with colleagues in India and Gothenburg, Sweden.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You need to provide technical expertise in .NET backend development.
  • You are responsible for managing front-end development using React/Next.js.
  • You have to align and coordinate delivery with Architects and Tech Leads to ensure consistency in solutions.
  • You need to collaborate effectively within and outside the team to secure resilient and shared technical designs.
  • You have to provide technical guidance to junior team members, including code reviews, test automation, and DevOps best practices.

Volvo Group Off Campus Eligibility Criteria

Education – B.E, BSc, MSc, or equivalent training in Computer Science 

Experience

  • You must have experience in programming, testing, and operational management (design, build, and maintain) of IT systems or applications.
  • Full stack software engineer is required.
    • Expert in back-end development using .NET (mandatory); Java experience is beneficial.
    • Extensive front-end experience using React/Next.js
  • You need to have experience in designing and implementing data models and REST APIs.
  • You must have experience in implementing and managing DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • You must have experience with container technology such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • You must have proven experience with automation and automated testing.
  • You need to have experience in application technical design and breaking down epics into features and user stories for product development.
  • You need to have experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • You have to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • You should have knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • You should be familiar with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • You should have a strong understanding of security best practices and their implementation.
  • You should have experience with cloud-based solutions and management on Azure, with a focus on DevSecOps.
  • You should have exposure to messaging technologies like Kafka and MQ.
