Eligibility Criteria

Year of Study:

  • Open to  science graduates (B.Sc., BCA) who have completed their degree within the last two years.

Academic Performance:

  • Minimum Percentage: Consistently maintained 60% and above throughout academics.

Relevant Courses:

  • Candidates should have a strong background in Computer  Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, or similar fields. Additional courses or certifications in programming, data structures, and software development are advantageous.

  • Resume/CV:
    • Updated resume highlighting relevant coursework, projects, internships, and technical skills. Emphasize any experience with programming languages, software development, or relevant industry tools.
  • Cover Letter:
    • Optional but highly recommended. Use this to express your interest in the TCS Ignite Program, your career aspirations, and why you believe you are a good fit.
  • Additional Documents:

Hiring Process

Here’s the detailed step-by-step hiring process for the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ignite Program:

2. Application Screening

3. Eligibility Criteria

  • Degrees Accepted: BCA, B.Sc, B.Voc.

  • Academic Performance: Minimum 50% aggregate or 5 CGPA in 10th, 12th, and graduation.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 28 years.
  • Education Gap: Maximum of 2 years allowed with relevant proof.
  • Backlogs: No active backlogs for 2023 batch at the time of selection; one active backlog allowed for 2024 batch but must be cleared before joining.

4. Online Assessment

  • Test Provider: TCS iON.
  • Test Duration: 120 minutes.
  • Sections:
    • Numerical Ability
    • Verbal Ability
    • Reasoning Ability
    • Coding (Optional): Solve coding problems using C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.

5. Interviews

6. Selection and Offer

  • End Date: It concludes around February.
