As an L1 Service Desk, what you will do:
- You have to be the first person customers contact when they need help with technology.
- You need to answer calls, emails, and chats from customers all around the world, 24 hours a day.
- You have to know how to fix problems with computers and their parts (like keyboards and printers).
- You need to be able to work well with others and talk clearly using tools like Microsoft Teams.
- You must understand how computers work (like Windows), how to find problems, and how to install and fix software.
- You need to be able to handle many things at once and work quickly.
- You have to be good at helping customers and be polite.
- You must be able to talk and write clearly.
- You need to write down what the problem is and how you fixed it right away.
- You have to solve problems within a certain time limit.
- You need to help customers fix their problems by asking the right questions and using special tools.
- You have to find the best way to solve the problem using the company’s rules and information.
- You need to explain to the customer how to fix the problem.
- You have to ask for help from other people if you can’t solve the problem.
- You have to give customers the right information about the company’s technology.
- You need to keep records of all the problems and how they were solved.
- You have to tell customers what’s happening with their problem.
- You need to tell the company about any problems customers have or any ways to improve things.
