What You’ll Be Doing:

Troubleshoot Network Issues: You’ll be responsible for identifying and fixing problems with the Verizon Wireless network.
Network Monitoring: You’ll monitor the network for any issues and use network management systems to detect problems.
Provide Support: You’ll provide technical support to both internal and external customers, including other departments within Verizon.
Collaborate with Others: You’ll work closely with other teams to quickly resolve network issues.
Improve Your Skills: You’ll have opportunities to learn new skills and grow your technical expertise through on-the-job training.
Provide On-Demand Support: You’ll be available to provide immediate support during network outages or other critical events.
Support NRB ACD: You’ll help support the Network Repair Bureau’s phone systems by answering questions from internal teams and customers.

What You Need:

Education or Experience: You need either one or more years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
Communication Skills: You need to be able to communicate effectively with others.
Problem-Solving Skills: You need strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
Independent Work: You should be able to work independently and take initiative.
Flexible Schedule: You need to be available to work from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Shift Flexibility: You may need to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
Customer Service Experience: You should have experience working in customer service.
Technical Skills: You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Gmail.

Even Better If You Have:

Technical Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
Telecommunications Knowledge: Knowledge of LTE networks and 4G/5G technologies is preferred.
Troubleshooting Experience: Experience troubleshooting telecommunications issues is beneficial.
Cloud Experience: Knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies like OpenStack and VMware is a plus.
Network Certifications: Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or similar are a plus.
Computer Support Experience: Experience supporting computers, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, is a plus.
Adaptability: You should be able to work well in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Teamwork: You should be able to work effectively as part of a team.
