Role and Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Coordination: Work with business, accounting, control, reporting, and change stakeholders to achieve process objectives.
Ad-Hoc Requests: Address ad-hoc information requests promptly.
Quality Assurance: Maintain a keen eye for detail, review and challenge processes and numbers, and escalate issues as needed.
Stakeholder Communication: Respond promptly to feedback, questions, and requests from stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes.
Team Support: Contribute to key projects and initiatives within the team.

The Group Finance team at UBS aims to drive sustainable shareholder value by optimizing, safeguarding, and controlling financial resources. The role operates within various teams, including Product Control, Accounting, Reporting, Controlling, and Treasury.

Eligibility criteria:

Chartered Accountant (CA): Must have passed the Intermediate or CA IPCC Examination (both groups) to qualify as an industrial trainee.
Experience: Industrial Traineeship is typically required during the final year of Practical Training/Articleship.
Technical Skills: Strong accounting and analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and MS Access), and the ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly.
Soft Skills: Excellent team player, flexibility, commitment to quality and deadlines, strong communication skills, and a methodical and organized approach.
