As a Staff Software Engineer – Backend, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems that drive Uber’s Hailables services. You will lead high-impact projects, mentor engineers, and define engineering standards for the team.
📌 Key Responsibilities
✅ Enterprise API Development – Design and author enterprise-grade API specifications.
✅ Scalable Tech Platforms – Build highly scalable, distributed backend systems handling millions of transactions.
✅ Consumer-Facing Products – Develop high-performance backend for customer-facing Uber applications.
✅ Leadership & Mentorship – Guide and mentor engineers while setting high engineering standards.
