As a Trainee Engineer – MDM at Vestas Chennai, you will join the Parts & Master Data Management team within Service Industrialisation. You’ll support lifecycle data enrichment—maintaining BOMs, task lists, and parts specifications using SAP and PTC Windchill to ensure supply chain agility and high data accuracy.
🔧 Key Responsibilities 🔧
- 🔄 Complete end‑to‑end parts/tools enrichment per business requirement
- 📊 Analyze service order data to support materials/tools enrichment
- ✍️ Recommend and review task list updates/creation
- ⚙️ Develop scheduled/unscheduled global & local task lists in SAP and Windchill
- 📋 Build configurable task lists in Windchill for turbine maintenance
- 🛠️ Handle incoming update requests via Service ECO/ServiceNow
- 📅 Maintain operation lines in process plans
- 🔍 Ensure master data completeness as per Vestas guidelines
- 🤝 Coordinate with specialists to resolve execution challenges
- 🧩 Integrate local requirements into global task lists for standardization
✅ Who Can Apply?
🎓 Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics
💼 Experience: Fresher or up to 1 year in MDM support activities
💻 Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Excel, SQL databases, PTC Windchill, SAP; industrial experience
