Eligibility Criteria for TCS BPS Hiring
- Education:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree (B.Com, BA, BAF, BBI, BBA, BBM, BMS) from the batch of 2025 and be a full-time graduate (part-time/correspondence courses are not considered).
- NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) for Secondary and/or Senior Secondary is allowed only if all other degrees are full-time.
- No extended education is allowed (must have completed the course within the stipulated duration).
- Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: Up to one pending or active backlog is allowed at the time of the interview but must be cleared before joining TCS.
- Gaps in Education: The total gap in education cannot exceed 24 months and must be declared in the application form with relevant documents as proof.
- Work Experience: No prior work experience is required, but any experience should be declared in the application form.
- Age: Must be between 18 and 28 years old.
- Other:
- Comfortable working in a 24/7 environment with rotational shifts (including nights).
- TCS has a strict eligibility criteria and selection process. They will verify your eligibility throughout the process, and any discrepancies can lead to disqualification.
In Summary:
- Be a Bachelor’s degree graduate from the batch of 2025 with no outstanding backlogs when joining.
- Have a clean academic record with minimal gaps (less than 24 months).
- Be between 18 and 28 years old and comfortable with rotational shifts.
- No prior work experience is required but must be declared if any.
Test Pattern
The test is of 50mins duration and comprises of the below sections:
- Verbal Ability
- Numerical Ability
- Logical Reasoning

Step 1. Click on the “Apply here” button provided below. You will be redirected to the official career Login page to the TCS Next Step Portal
Step 2. Register and apply for the TCS Off Campus hiring process
Scenario A. If you are a registered user, kindly log in and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’.
Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on ‘Register Now’, choose the category as ‘IT’ and proceed to fill in your details. Submit your application form and click on “Apply For Drive”.
Step 3. Select your mode of the test(In-Centre or Remote) and click on Apply
Step 4. To confirm your status, check “Track Your Application“. The status should reflect as “Applied for Drive“

- You must have all your original academic documents readily available (Marksheets and degree certificates)
- Communication-related to the Test will be shared with you by TCS iON
- Test mode (In-Centre or Remote) once selected at the time of ‘Apply for Drive’ cannot be changed later
- TCS does not send job offers / any hiring-related communication from unofficial email ids like Gmail, Rediff mail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, etc.
