Job Role : Assistant Manager – Customer Interaction Suite

Job Type : Full Time Job.

Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements thoroughly to provide clear and relevant feedback on time.
• Plan and manage your testing workload effectively, including estimating effort, prioritizing tasks, and coordinating activities.
• Identify and track bugs until they are fixed, ensuring thorough resolution.
• Perform regression testing to verify that bug fixes and new features haven’t caused unintended issues.
• Monitor key testing metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts, and keep stakeholders informed about testing progress.
• Have hands-on experience with the OpenSearch tool for data analysis and exploration (familiarity is assumed but not explicitly stated).
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and keep stakeholders updated on your progress.
• Be adaptable and willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities as they arise.
• Stay current with the latest testing tools and strategies to continuously improve your skills and effectiveness.

Required Skills:

• Automation Testing: You must be proficient in automation testing tools, particularly Selenium.
• API Testing: You must have experience in API testing using Postman and/or Rest Assured.
• Test Framework Development: You must have experience in developing automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Test Case Writing: You must be able to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases in BDD format.
• QA Methodologies: You must have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Test Case Management: You must have experience with test case management tools like Jira, Zephyr, and X-Ray.
• Testing Experience: You must have hands-on experience with both manual and automation testing.
• Test Strategy: You must have experience in defining and implementing test strategies for manual and automation testing across projects.
• Risk-Based Testing: You must be familiar with risk-based testing and the prioritization of test cases accordingly.
• Performance Testing: You should have experience in performance testing.
• Collaboration: You must be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving: You must have strong problem-solving skills, time management skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Technical Skills:
  • You should have knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
  • You should have experience with Gitlab, Github, or SVN.
• Soft Skills:
  • You must have excellent communication skills – oral, written, and presentation.
  • You must be able to set priorities, develop and execute clear and concise plans, and drive execution.
  • You must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • You must take ownership of your work and be able to think innovatively to handle ambiguities in large projects.
