Siemens Off Campus Drive 2024 – Trainee

Impact Areas:

1. Generating Bill of Materials (BOM):
   • The primary responsibility is to generate BOM for the Design Engineering Service Line, focusing on Automation and Fire systems.
   • Ensure accurate creation and maintenance of BOM for the Design Engineering Service Line.
   • Update BOM with precise information regarding both Siemens and third-party materials.
2. Collaboration and Interaction:
   • Work closely with the Operational team and various stakeholders.
   • Use Smart Infrastructure Parts to collect common materials or pricing.
   • Associate quotes to line items in SAP.
   • Insert and update any Sourcing Approval Forms (SAF) created by the Design Engineer.
   • Collaborate with team leaders for prioritizing BOM requests.
   • Create re-estimates for the Design Engineer.
3. Automation and Fire Tasks:
   • Perform automation tasks such as running DT to SAP BOM transfer and inserting any missing or third-party materials.
   • For fire tasks, enter materials in SAP as per the fire deviation report and the final design, including inserting any missing or third-party materials and adjusting the as-sold information.
