Job Role : Associate Cloud Operations Engineer 1

Job Type : Full Time Job.

Job Description

A Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services. They ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud-based applications and resources while monitoring and responding to incidents and issues. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and best practices.

Technical Experience Required:

  • You should have 0-2 years of experience as an application support engineer in a cloud-hosted environment.
  • You should have 0-2 years of experience providing customer application and technology support.
  • You must have a strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • You must have knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).
  • You have to manage service requests based on priority and track requests to completion with quality and in a timely manner.
  • You should have experience working with ticketing tools like Salesforce, Jira, etc., used to track and manage service requests.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • You need to have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve application, instance, and/or ticket issues.
  • You need to be able to learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal customers and partners via phone, chat, and email.
  • You need to be a highly motivated, self-starter who can collaborate effectively within Cloud Operations and across other functional groups.
  • You need to understand and continuously recommend improvements to Cloud Operations processes, documentation, and tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • You must have 1 year or less of relevant and related work experience.
    • You must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Good to have skills (not mandatory):
    • You should have experience in RPA development or Power Automate.
    • You should be proficient in essential programming languages, with the ability to script and code using modern languages.
    • You should have knowledge of database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, and Oracle)
