Job Description:
The Cloud Operations team at Poshmark fill the mission-critical role of ensuring that our complex, large-scale systems are healthy, monitored, automated, and designed to scale. You’ll use your interest in site operations/DevOps and your experience writing code to work closely with our development teams from the early stages of design all the way through identifying and resolving production issues.

- Automation: Develop scripts and tools to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Monitoring: Monitor system performance and security.
- Deployment: Assist with deploying applications and updates.
- Testing: Test applications to ensure quality.
- Learning and Development: Work with a mentor and peers to learn and grow.
Required Experience:
- Education: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of Python, Perl, Ruby, or JavaScript.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and Git/SVN version control.
- Learning Agility: Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication.
- Problem-Solving: A curious and analytical mindset to solve complex problems.
- Practical Experience: Experience with coding projects, whether personal or through hackathons, open-source contributions, or internships.
Things that catch our eye:
- Exposure to HTTP protocol, SSL, and REST API’s.
- Familiarity with any Cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with: Tomcat, Redis, MongoDB, ElasticSearch.
- Experience with containers and kubernetes.
