Internship projects usually focus on these areas:
You’ll either be part of the main data science team, working on retail and media analytics for various brands, or you’ll join a specific team that deals with eCommerce and consumer issues, closely working with one brand.
From day one, you’ll work on real-life projects. Your job will be to understand business goals and create meaningful insights by analyzing data from sales, locations, products, supply, direct-to-consumer (DTC), customer relationship management (CRM), TV ads, online searches, and more, from over 10 countries in the region.
You’ll also build, test, and deploy machine learning or other data science models into our IT systems.

Job Qualifications And Skills
- P&G look for Candidate with strong academic results in a BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Applied Science or other quant-focused field.
- You should have knowledge in machine learning, statistical modeling, or econometrics, either through internships or coursework. Having your own GitHub projects and participating in data analytics competitions like Kaggle is a big plus.
- You should enjoy using Python, SQL, and other programming languages to solve real-world problems. It’s even better if you know about big data and tools like Spark.
- Good communication skills are important, as you’ll need to convince others to take action based on your ideas.
- You should feel comfortable working with people from different departments and backgrounds.
- Leadership in extra-curricular activities.
- You should be good at thinking critically and solving problems, and able to juggle multiple tasks at once with a positive attitude.
