Job Role: Analyst – Expense Management – Field Service – Wealth Management

Morgan Stanley is seeking a detail-oriented Expense Management Analyst to join the Wealth Management team in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. In this role, you’ll work closely with field management to review and approve T&E expense reimbursement requests while ensuring compliance with Firm policies. You’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate expense records.

Key Responsibilities

🔍 Expense Review & Approval:

Review and approve T&E expense reimbursement requests for field advisors and branch personnel.
Ensure high standards of accuracy and quality while processing a high volume of expense requests.

🤝 Customer Service Excellence:

Provide world-class customer service to both field-facing and internal counterparts.
Address and resolve inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.

🕵️ Problem Solving & Decision Making:

Research and resolve issues and deficiencies promptly.
Apply critical thinking to evaluate risk and client experience while making decisions.

📚 Compliance & Training:

Apply Firm policies and procedures during expense review and approval.
Participate in training programs to stay updated on policies, procedures, and risk awareness.

💡 Continuous Improvement:

Provide feedback and suggest process improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills Required

🎓 Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education experience preferred.
Relevant experience in lieu of education will also be considered.

💼 Professional Experience:

0-2.5 years of experience in expense management, finance, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and excellent judgment.

💻 Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn internal systems quickly.

🤝 Soft Skills & Competencies:

Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
