Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Testing: Create circuit designs, layouts, and schematics. Ensure their accuracy through simulations and tests like DRC, LVS, and hspice.
• Semiconductor Knowledge: Understand how semiconductor devices work, their testing, and how to design for manufacturability.
• Memory Design: Be familiar with memory array design, manufacturing processes, and potential issues.
• Customer Interaction: Understand customer requirements (EDUT) and deliver completed designs.
• Problem-Solving: Be able to identify and solve problems effectively.
• Learning: Be open to learning new things and exploring unfamiliar ideas.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Make decisions based on facts and numbers.
• Technical Skills: Experience with EDA tools (like Cadence and Calibre) is helpful, as well as programming languages like Perl, Skill, and UNIX shell scripting.
