Your Role:
As a Data Engineer Intern at Micron Technology, you’ll help us use data to make better decisions. You’ll work with big data, cloud technologies, and machine learning to transform raw data into useful insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Migration: Move data from different sources to a new data structure.
- Data Preparation: Clean and organize data so it can be used for analysis.
- Data Analysis: Work with data scientists to develop ways to analyze data and improve machine learning systems.
- Technology Skills: Use Google Cloud tools (BigQuery, Big Table, etc.), cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), and programming languages (Python, Java).
- Project Management: Work effectively with teams and communicate clearly with others.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of big data, data engineering, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, databases, and data warehousing.
- Strong Knowledge with cloud-based data engineering and machine learning.
- Ability to work with APIs and software development life cycles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Passion for data and information.
