Job Role : Quality Analyst – Associate

Business Unit : Commercial & Investment Bank

Job Schedule : Full time

    Job Shift : Evening

    Job Responsibilities:

    • You have to provide accurate estimates for how long tests will take during daily scrum meetings.
    • You need to document and execute test scenarios by identifying specific scenarios and writing test scripts using Business Driven Development (BDD) techniques like Gherkin.
    • You need to work closely with Operations, Product, and Technology teams.
    • You are responsible for monitoring and reporting testing defects and managing the re-testing process.
    • You may be asked to represent the Test Manager in project calls and communicate with colleagues.
    • You have to validate and present test results for internal sign-off.
    • You need to work independently with minimal supervision on your day-to-day activities.
    • You have to professionally manage and oversee critical testing tasks accurately and meet tight deadlines.
    • You need to understand and use Agile project delivery methodologies and be open to learning new methodologies as they evolve.

    JPMorgan Chase Off Campus 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

    Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

    • You must have a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree.
    • You must be able to write automated tests.
    • You need to have a thorough understanding of common defect and data-management tools.
    • You need to have a strong understanding of different software development lifecycles, including Waterfall and Agile, and be able to develop test automation strategies.
    • You need to effectively work with teams and stakeholders to build relationships and achieve common goals.
    • You should have a good understanding of a specific business function and how it relates to the broader business context.
    • You need to be able to apply your knowledge of testing processes within the Payments domain to define requirements, document user stories, and create test scripts.
    • You must be able to use test automation tools to efficiently and timely execute end-to-end tests. This requires previous experience in automated testing.
    • You have to manage and oversee critical testing tasks dynamically and accurately to meet tight deadlines.

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

    • It’s a plus if you use Business Driven Development (BDD) or Test Driven Development (TDD) test methodologies or automate test cases.
    • It’s helpful if you can identify opportunities to improve and streamline testing processes for assigned projects and share this knowledge with other team members.
    • It’s beneficial if you have relevant testing experience within the Financial Services industry, particularly in supporting multiple lines of business (LOBs) in a highly complex, pressurized, and high-volume environment.
    • You should have strong numerical and Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to create professional presentations (like PowerPoint/Pitch Pro) with minimal input and review.
    • You should be able to use data-driven reporting effectively to support program reporting.
