🧑‍💻 Job Role

As an Intern – Engineering at Wabtec, you will be an integral part of the Digital Solutions team working on projects in the Ports and Rail domains. Guided by a mentor, you’ll contribute to delivering functional components needed by product management, enhancing your skills in software development, troubleshooting, and deployment.

This is an on-site role based in Bengaluru, offering hands-on experience in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • 🚀 Module Ownership: Take charge of module delivery under mentor guidance.
  • 🤝 Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with team members to achieve goals.
  • 💻 Code Development: Write unit tests and integration test cases for robust applications.
  • 📅 Timely Delivery: Ensure business functionality is delivered on time by coordinating with relevant teams.
  • 🧠 Technical Discussions: Participate actively in technical discussions, contributing through presentations or Proof of Concepts (POCs).

🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Education: 🎓 Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Programming Knowledge:

    • 🌐 Familiarity with frontend technologies like AngularJS and JavaScript.
  • Database Skills: 📊 Understanding of RDBMS.
  • Cloud Technologies: ☁️ Knowledge of AWS or other cloud-related technologies is a plus.
  • Data Structures & Algorithms: 📚 Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • Soft Skills:
