IITM Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection procedure for posts at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) consists of multiple steps. First, the institute may shortlist candidates based on required and desirable qualifications, academic performance records, relevant experience, and any other criteria established by the selection committee. Shortlisted candidates will then move on to the next level, which usually includes an online or physical interview.
During the interview, the shortlisted candidates’ performance will be evaluated to establish their fit for the various positions. The ultimate selection will be based on the candidates’ overall performance during the interview process.
IITM Recruitment 2024 Salary
The salary range for the position is Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 31,000/- per month, along with HRA.
The appointment is initially for one year on a purely temporary and contractual basis. Any extension of tenure beyond this initial period will be contingent upon the duration of the project and the satisfactory performance of the appointed individual.
