Job Role : Associate System Engineer

Area of work : Software Engineering

Your role and responsibilities:

  • You will participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, code implementation, testing, and support.
  • You will create software that enables your clients’ hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, ensuring that the applications delivered are high-performing, highly available, responsive, and maintainable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You have to analyze, validate, and propose improvements for existing failures, with the support of the architect and technical leader.
  • You need to be involved in every step of the process, from design, development, testing, and releasing changes to troubleshooting as needed. This requires providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
  • You have to drive key discussions with your stakeholders and analyze the current landscape to identify opportunities for innovative coding solutions.

IBM Off Campus Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:-

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Batch: Batch not mention (but Expected Batches are 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • You must have completed your Bachelor’s degree in 2024.
  • Eligible Degrees: BE/BTech/ME/MTech/Dual Degree/MSc/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields (like Electronics, Telecommunications, etc.).
  • You must have a minimum CGPA of 6.0 or an equivalent percentage (calculated as: Sum of marks obtained / Sum total of maximum marks obtainable). This includes all subjects, including electives/optional subjects.
  • You must have strong programming skills, preferably in Java, C++, or Python.
  • You must have a good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • You should have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and spoken).

Work Location

Mysore, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, New Delhi

Work arrangement : Hybrid
