Job Role : Devops Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Improve Developer Experience: You’ll build tools and services that make it easier and more enjoyable for developers to work within the company.
- Ensure System Reliability: You’ll make sure the backend systems that support our applications are fast, reliable, and can handle a lot of users.
- Monitor and Support: You’ll keep a close eye on our applications to identify and fix any problems that arise.
- Collaborate with Teams: You’ll work closely with other teams, such as DevOps and infrastructure teams, to deploy and manage our applications.
- Ensure Code Quality: You’ll write tests to make sure the code works correctly and review other developers’ code to ensure high quality.
- Stay Updated: You’ll stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices in backend development and databases.
- Document Everything: You’ll document your work, including technical specifications, code changes, and system architecture.

- Agile Experience: You should be familiar with Agile ways of working and have experience working in an Agile team.
- DevOps Knowledge: You should understand DevOps practices like continuous integration, continuous delivery, and monitoring.
- Communication: You need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Collaboration: You should be able to work well with people from different teams.
- Full-Stack Understanding: You should be comfortable working with all parts of the system, from databases to cloud platforms.
- Coding Skills: You should be able to write and review code, and make technical decisions.
- Learning Agility: You should be eager to learn new things quickly.
- Developer Tools: You should be familiar with tools like GitHub, VSCode, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Databases: You should understand both relational databases (like Db2 and PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (like MongoDB).
- Containers: You should have experience working with containers and container orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Python: You should be proficient in Python programming.
