About the Role:

The Cloud Specialist 1 is primarily responsible for providing initial-level support for our cloud-based solutions. This includes responding to and resolving customer issues, working on incident response, and assisting with cloud infrastructure maintenance. We are currently seeking Junior Cloud Specialists to join our teams. Freshers are also eligible to apply.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • You will respond to basic inbound phone calls, tickets, and emails from internal and external resources requesting assistance with cloud-hosted solutions.
  • You will interact with customers, partners, and internal resources to understand their needs related to their ticket requests.
  • You will respond to alerts from internal monitoring tools and take corrective action to resolve issues in a timely manner, with direct oversight from team members.
  • You will assist in supporting cloud infrastructure, networking, and other hosting tools to ensure high availability of customer solutions.
  • You will assist with testing processes related to the cloud business continuity and disaster recovery plan.
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve basic cloud issues utilizing the company’s systems, utilities, and support processes, with direct oversight from team members. You will learn best practices for problem resolution.
  • You will perform scheduled environment refresh requests of data to assist customers, partners, and internal resources while learning best practices of the process.
  • You will provide regular and frequent communication to customers, ensuring they are fully advised on the progress or delay in resolving their issue.
  • You will contribute to internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to the resolution of issues and the maintenance of hosted systems, with oversight and guidance from team members.
  • You will assist in gathering information for audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

  • Education: You must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • You must have experience with Support Systems, Servers, and Cloud Networks.
    • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • You must have excellent oral and written communication skills that demonstrate professionalism and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.
    • You must be able to collaborate successfully within a team.
    • You must have strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • You must have strong interpersonal skills, maintaining solid rapport with team members while maintaining professionalism with those outside of the department.
    • You must have excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
    • You must be able to summarize large quantities of information into actionable insights.
    • You must be able to establish rapport and gain the trust of others.
    • You must be effective at gaining consensus.
    • You must be self-motivated with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
    • You must be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact.
  • Technical Skills (Preferred):
    • You should have knowledge of principles of systems administration, Microsoft Windows networking, and virtualization technologies.
    • You should have knowledge of Microsoft server environments, including Microsoft Active Directory, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
