Role & Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer II in the Engines and Power Systems team, you will:
- Apply strong fundamentals in mechanics of solids, vibrations, rotor dynamics, and machine design.
- Perform system dynamics and linear/non-linear vibration analyses.
- Use Nastran, MATLAB, Hypermesh for design and simulation.
- Optionally work with Ansys, Ansys WB, and NX modeling.
- Independently execute tasks while ensuring design quality and improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to innovation, intellectual property, and design solutions.
- Maintain an agile mindset to drive speed and cycle time improvements.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from a reputed university.
- Good understanding of Gas Turbine Engine components.
Experience:
- 0–2 years of relevant industry experience.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in system dynamics analysis and vibration analysis.
- Knowledge of finite element analysis tools and simulation software.
