Job Summary
As a Trainee Engineer at GE HealthCare, you’ll support manufacturing and engineering process activities—driving implementation, process improvements, validation, and quality control in alignment with documented procedures. This hands-on role offers exposure to Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and cross-functional collaboration, setting a foundation for impactful engineering growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Power Electronics and RF Coil manufacturing line
- Resolve quality issues on the production line
- Ensure equipment calibration is performed on schedule and maintain calibration reports
- Conduct Verification and Validation (V&V) for equipment and processes; prepare related reports
- Support equipment installation, maintenance, and tools ordering
- Address non-conforming material reports and manage rejected materials areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for problem-solving and rework coordination
- Assist in preparing work instructions and Device History Records, maintaining revision history
- Support engineering change communications across teams
- Train manufacturing team on updated work instructions
- Develop solutions for quality, cost, and productivity challenges
- Support EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) initiatives as a team member
- Maintain inventory of capital goods with traceability
- Execute Poka-Yoke projects for process simplification and drive Lean/Kaizen actions on-site
