Job Summary

As a Trainee Engineer at GE HealthCare, you’ll support manufacturing and engineering process activities—driving implementation, process improvements, validation, and quality control in alignment with documented procedures. This hands-on role offers exposure to Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and cross-functional collaboration, setting a foundation for impactful engineering growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Power Electronics and RF Coil manufacturing line
  • Resolve quality issues on the production line
  • Ensure equipment calibration is performed on schedule and maintain calibration reports
  • Conduct Verification and Validation (V&V) for equipment and processes; prepare related reports
  • Support equipment installation, maintenance, and tools ordering
  • Address non-conforming material reports and manage rejected materials areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for problem-solving and rework coordination
  • Assist in preparing work instructions and Device History Records, maintaining revision history
  • Support engineering change communications across teams
  • Train manufacturing team on updated work instructions
  • Develop solutions for quality, cost, and productivity challenges
  • Support EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) initiatives as a team member
  • Maintain inventory of capital goods with traceability
  • Execute Poka-Yoke projects for process simplification and drive Lean/Kaizen actions on-site
