What You’ll Do:

• Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks related to purchasing, such as maintaining files, logs, and records of invoices and purchase orders.
• Data Entry: Enter and maintain information on various business systems.
• Order Expediting: Assist in expediting orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Vendor Communication: Contact vendors to obtain pricing, schedule deliveries, and resolve issues.
• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items.
• Request for Quotation (RFQ) Preparation: Prepare standard RFQs.
• Order Management: Coordinate pricing revisions, order cancellations, and delivery date revisions.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Review reports to identify issues and generate group statistics.
• Shipping & Logistics: Assist with routing instructions, track shipments, and interface with carriers.
• Documentation: Prepare shipping and customs documentation.
• Supplier Collaboration: Assist in supplier contract negotiation and development.
