Job Role : Analyst – General Ledger

Job Type : Full Time job.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

  • You will process financial entries in the accounting system (like journal entries) according to the company’s rules.
  • You will correct any errors that your supervisor finds in the accounting records.
  • You will use the company’s software (ERP system) to generate reports as needed.
  • You will create and update important financial reports like the Trial Balance, Profit & Loss statement, and Balance Sheet.
  • You will make sure that the numbers in different parts of the accounting system match.
  • You will help other finance teams by creating simple tools (macros) in Excel.
  • You will work in a fast-paced environment where you need to meet deadlines for your work.
  • You will analyze financial data to find ways to automate tasks.
  • You will review and process financial transactions related to cash and non-cash payments.
  • You will learn how to use the company’s software (ERP system) to generate reports.
  • You will help prepare financial statements for the entire company.
  • You will check and process shipping documents to create invoices for customers.
  • This may include approving customer orders, creating invoices, and reviewing records for accuracy.
  • You will help with audits within the department.
  • You will work in a demanding environment with tight deadlines.
  • You will explore ways to use technology (like automation tools) to improve efficiency within the finance department, working closely with the IT team.

Flex Off Campus 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Finance, Master of Commerce (M.Com), or Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant professional experience in a finance or accounting role (preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including basic formulas, functions, and data analysis techniques).
    • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
    • Good understanding of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Other Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
