Job Role :- Firmware Test Engineer

What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Attend team meetings: You’ll regularly attend team meetings to understand what needs to be tested, develop test cases, review test cases written by other team members, create automated tests, and perform regression testing.
  • Provide regular updates: You’ll regularly inform your team leader or project manager about your progress.
  • Participate in quality audits: You may be involved in reviewing the quality of the software.
  • Follow Emerson’s guidelines: You’ll follow all of Emerson’s principles, practices, and procedures, both local and international.

  • Industry knowledge (Good to have): Knowledge of communication protocols like Modbus and DNP3, as well as experience with PLCs, RTUs, and SCADA systems is a plus.
  • Education: You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Electronics/Instrumentation knowledge (Added advantage): Experience or knowledge in Electronics or Instrumentation fields would be beneficial.
  • Communication skills: You should be able to communicate effectively with others.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • LabVIEW (Added advantage): Experience with LabVIEW software is a plus.
