🎯 Job Role – DevOps Engineer
As a DevOps Engineer at Wipro, you will be responsible for facilitating better coordination amongst operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- 🔄 Continuous Integration & Deployment:
- Aligning and focusing on CI/CD of technology in applications.
- Planning and executing the DevOps pipeline that supports the application life cycle across the DevOps toolchain – from planning, coding, and building to testing, staging, release, configuration, and monitoring.
- ⚙️ Infrastructure & Tool Management:
- Managing IT infrastructure as per the requirement of the supported software code.
- On-boarding applications on the DevOps tool and configuring them as per the client’s needs.
- Building and engineering DevOps tools as per customization suggested by the client.
- 💻 Automation & Scripting:
- Collaborating with development teams to tackle the coding and scripting needed to connect elements of the code required to run the software release with operating systems and production infrastructure.
- Leveraging tools to automate testing and deployment in a DevOps environment.
- 🛠️ Customer Support & Issue Resolution:
- Providing customer support/service on DevOps tools.
- Resolving tickets raised on these tools within the specified TAT and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis of critical/repeatable issues.
- 📊 Performance & Monitoring:
- Ensuring error-free onboarding and implementation for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
- Following escalation processes if a resolution becomes complicated or isn’t resolved.
