Your Job Role And Responsibilities As a Associate.

Business/Customer:

• You have to perform Service Operations (SOP) activities while understanding the customer’s environment and its impact on the business.
• You need to ensure adherence to customer security and compliance requirements.
• You have to implement approved change requests according to the customer’s change management process.
• You are responsible for managing the incident lifecycle according to ITIL or BIC frameworks (as applicable).
• You must adhere to customer communication etiquette.
• You need to meet the stated productivity requirements for the engagement.

Project/Process:

• You need to review Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) feedback and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• You have to participate in the Critical Situation (Critsit) process to resolve incidents promptly.
• You have to log and triage incidents effectively.
• You need to coordinate with resolver groups, vendors, and carriers.
• You have to troubleshoot escalated incidents or problems and refer or escalate them (functionally and hierarchically) to the appropriate groups (Vendors/Level 3).
• You need to contribute to the FAQ database and Knowledge Repository by creating and updating knowledge articles.
• You need to contribute to continuous service improvement plans (CSI).
• You are responsible for developing induction documents in consultation with relevant stakeholders for the project and ensuring the successful completion of the induction process for new joiners.
• You have to effectively manage team floor activities.

Team/People:

• You need to continually assess the skill levels of team members and provide necessary assistance.
• You have to actively participate in and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.
• You need to encourage team members to participate in organizational innovation programs.
• You have to act as a buddy for new hires, guiding them through their onboarding process.
• You need to make recommendations to the team lead regarding team and individual performance ratings.

Organization:

• You need to ensure the team contributes and participates in all organizational technology events and knowledge-sharing forums.
• You must adhere to all Organizational policies and processes, including Cognizant’s security policies and Legal and Professional (LP) timelines.
• You may be required to participate in recruitment drives.
