🚀 Job Role: Cloud Security Engineer I
As a Cloud Security Engineer I, you’ll be responsible for designing, managing, and securing SaaS applications while working closely with cross-functional teams. Your role ensures that Invesco’s cloud security practices meet industry standards and compliance requirements.
💪 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures for SaaS applications.
- Monitor and respond to security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
- Define security requirements for cloud workloads, IAM, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and SIEM.
- Research and design cloud security solutions aligned with NIST and Cloud Security Alliance guidance.
- Deploy infrastructure-as-code scripts for security controls optimization.
- Provide hands-on implementation of security technologies in cloud projects.
- Deliver patches, upgrades, and support for cloud security engineering.
- Investigate and report on emerging cloud security trends and issues.
📚 Qualifications & Skills Required
- 0-2 years of experience in information security roles.
- Hands-on experience in cloud security across AWS, Azure, Oracle, and major cloud providers.
- Experience with DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and JSON scripting.
- Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, ISO, SOC1/2, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
