In this role, your work is to:
- Review Employee Expense Claims:
- You have to ensure all expenses submitted comply with BCG’s Travel and Expense policy.
- You have to verify that submitted expenses match the provided receipts.
- You have to ensure proper approval is obtained for expenses outside of the policy.
- Resolve Expense Claim Queries:
- You have to work effectively with various stakeholders to resolve expense claim queries and ensure high user satisfaction.
- Prepare and Distribute Reports:
- You have to prepare and distribute routine reports/reminders to local finance offices.
- You have to provide regular updates to local finance on expense trends, anomalies, improvement plans, and audit procedure changes.
- Partner with Local Finance:
- You have to build and maintain strong relationships with local finance teams to address travel expense policy and audit questions.
- Maintain Data Quality:
- You have to maintain the highest quality standards and prevent duplicate claims or reimbursements.
- You have to maintain accurate employee and approver data in the system.
- You have to perform periodic reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Follow Processes and Improve:
- You have to follow established processes and identify areas for improvement or updates.
- Adhere to Compliance:
- You have to adhere to all internal compliance policies and guidelines.
- You have to maintain exception logs for process-related exceptions for knowledge retention.
- Generate and Validate Reports:
- You have to generate, validate, and distribute periodic expense reports.
- You have to identify and address anomalies or discrepancies in T&E data.
- Complete Ad-Hoc Requests:
- You have to complete ad-hoc requests and perform other duties as needed.
- Participate in Projects:
- You have to actively participate in organization-wide projects and initiatives.
BCG Off Campus 2025 Eligibility Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) and experience working in a global finance team.
- 0-3 years of experience handling travel and expense processing, reports, and queries.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. You should also be adaptable to learning new software programs.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Travel & Expense (T&E) workflow solutions like SAP Concur or ChromeRiver is a plus.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools is preferred.
