Job Role – Associate: Inward Quality 🧪

As an Associate – Inward Quality, you’ll ensure that every part and component arriving from suppliers meets top-notch standards. From using tools like verniers to collaborating with suppliers on quality issues, you’ll be the first line of defense in ensuring only the best parts go into Emerson products.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing 📋
- 🔍 Inspect incoming parts and components using mechanical tools like verniers & height gauges
- 📦 Perform receiving inspections as per the incoming inspection plan
- 🧾 Document results and maintain accurate inspection records
- 🖥️ Update inspection outcomes in Oracle systems
- ❌ Identify and report non-conformities in materials or components
- 🤝 Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- 🏗️ Inspect castings, machined parts, and soft components
- 📄 Review MTCs/MTRs and ensure documentation compliance
- 🛠️ Perform in-process inspections like heat number verification, hardness, and DFT
- ✅ Comply with Emerson’s ethics, safety, and trade policies
Qualifications & Skills Required 🎓
- ✅ Proficiency in using inspection tools like vernier, height gauge, etc.
- 🧠 Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- 📐 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- 🗣️ Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- 📘 Background in quality control or mechanical operations preferred
- 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 🛢️ Experience in metal/mechanical or oil & gas sectors is a plus
