The Role
This position will work with our Software Development team to ensure high quality through continuous integration and automated testing. This position will promote industry best practices as a part of the Software Engineer in Test team.
You will be responsible for:

- Collaborate with teams: You’ll work closely with teams that build and deploy the product.
- Ensure quality: You’ll work with project teams to make sure the product is high-quality and meets customer needs.
- Test and document: You’ll create and run tests, write test plans, and automate testing processes.
- Improve testing: You’ll develop and implement better testing methods and tools.
- Review and analyze: You’ll review requirements and designs to make sure they’re testable.
- Automate processes: You’ll automate tasks like installing software, running tests, and releasing products.
- Set up automated testing: You’ll configure systems to automatically test the product.
What you need to have:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in testing software.
- Automation skills: Strong skills in automating tests using Python.
- Testing knowledge: In-depth knowledge of testing tools and methods.
- Scripting: Ability to write scripts using Python, Perl, or Shell.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with teams in different locations.
- Automation mindset: A desire to automate tasks and improve processes.
- Agile experience: Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Automation tools: Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Robot, and Apache JMeter.
- Database knowledge: Understanding of databases like MySQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
- Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware and VSphere.
