Summary / Role Purpose:

• You will join the Ansys Foundry team, a global hub for foundry-related technology initiatives and customer support.
• You will gain valuable knowledge and expertise in a wide range of leading-edge technologies and Ansys product offerings.
• We are a dynamic and supportive team with experienced industry veterans.

• While relevant industry experience is preferred, we are willing to provide the necessary training and support to help you succeed.
• This role may involve collaboration with local Application Engineering (AE) teams, Sales, and Field Marketing, as well as opportunities to participate in cross-country projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• You have to provide prompt guidance and support to help our partners achieve success.
• You will collaborate with Ansys product development teams to translate customer requirements into new product features, test new product releases, and develop best practices for using Ansys solutions.
• You may contribute to consulting services and conduct introductory or intermediate training sessions.
• You will perform moderately complex development activities, including designing, implementing, maintaining, testing, and documenting software modules and sub-systems.
• You need to understand and apply best practices in your work.
• You will perform moderately complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.
• You have to research and develop solutions to problems discovered by Quality Assurance (QA) or product support.
• You need to understand foundry technology requirements, define specifications, and work with Research and Development (RD) to enable the required solutions.

Ansys Off Campus Eligibility Criteria: 

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience:

• You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• You should have 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• You should have some experience working with EDA solutions, in companies such as semiconductor design companies or foundries.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• It’s preferred if you have experience using Ansys Totem, IC layout editors, and SPICE simulation tools.
• It’s helpful if you have knowledge of Ansys or other commercial CAE, CAD, or EDA software.
• You should be familiar with circuit-level and timing analysis of signal integrity applications.
• You should have an understanding of Electronic Migration, Electrostatic Discharge, and other IC signoff criteria.
• You must have strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• You need to be results-oriented with a sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow up on tasks effectively.
• It’s a plus if you are familiar with TCL, Python, or Perl.
