What You’ll Be Doing As a Consultant in Cognizant :-

• Understand and Document Requirements:
  • You’ll work with Business Analysts (BAs) to understand complex business needs.
  • You’ll create detailed use case specifications that clearly outline the requirements.
  • You’ll track requirements throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • You’ll identify and document how different requirements depend on each other.
• Technical Documentation:
  • You’ll create technical diagrams, such as data flow diagrams and sequence diagrams, to illustrate how systems and applications interact.
  • You’ll provide technical context and map data within functional specifications.
  • You’ll help the technical team understand the requirements in detail.
• Impact Analysis: You’ll assess how new requirements will affect existing applications and document the potential impacts.
• Testing Support:
  • You’ll collaborate with testing teams to ensure that testing covers all aspects of the requirements.
  • You’ll help identify unique test data and test scenarios.
  • You may participate in some high-level functional testing.
• Team Development:
  • You’ll mentor junior team members by providing training and guidance.
  • You’ll conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to improve team skills and knowledge.
  • You’ll contribute to improving the overall quality and efficiency of TFA deliverables.

Cognizant Off Campus Eligibility Criteria

Education: Bachelor’s degree. But we prefered in

• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of JIRA, Confluence, and SQL. Familiarity with SDLC (Agile/Waterfall) methodologies.
• Business Domain Knowledge: Understanding of Japanese insurance business and their way of working (preferred).
• Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear, concise, and well-structured documentation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
