Responsibilities
- Processing and checking of data entry onto relevant Customer UW systems.
- Monitor and chase queries, seeking advice where required.
- Undertake training of new staff.
- Identify and implement opportunities for streamlining underwriting data capture activities.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures and User Guides accurately reflect current procedures.
- Assist with the testing and roll out of new IT initiatives, in support of the Customer IT Department.
- To maintain all underwriting data and records and ensure high quality of entries into client’s systems in accordance with the service levels.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Lloyd’s and London market practices & US Insurance Market (optional).
- A strong understanding of the (re) insurance industry.(Recommended)
- Strong written and oral communication skills.(Must have)
- Able to work effectively as part of a team or on own initiative (Must have).
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills (.(Must have).
- Hard working and willingness to go above and beyond to meet deadlines (Must have).
- Fluency in English is required .(Must have)
